Chris Pearson, EIT
Staff Engineer
Mr. Pearson joined Harbor Engineering in 2020 after graduating from URI with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and minoring in Mathematics & English. After graduating from college, he obtained his Fundamentals of Engineering certification. His love for the water started at an early age and continued through his college years when he participated on the 55 member URI Sailing Team, rising to team captain his senior year.
Although Chris is at an early stage in his career, he is quickly mastering the fundamentals of structural and geotechnical engineering that are associated with designing waterfront structures. Chris is currently focused on fieldwork, drafting, preparing regulatory filings and designing piers and bulkheads. When Chris is not working, he’s down in Newport racing various sailboats in one of the summer series.
